Step away from the noise and join us beside Connaught Water for an unhurried day of stillness, reflection and community.
There will be space to walk, pray, enjoy the lakeside surroundings or simply sit quietly and breathe. This is an invitation to slow down, notice God’s presence and leave room for the kind of rest that everyday life rarely allows.
Bring comfortable footwear, weather-appropriate clothing, something to eat and drink, and a picnic blanket or chair if you have one.
Quiet the noise. Make room for God.
GOD OF OUTSIDE: EXPLORE
For Explore, the destination is in your hands.
You’ll be invited to vote between High Beach and Bedfords Park, with the most popular choice becoming our meeting point for the day. Once there, you can choose your own adventure: walk, cycle, take photographs, read, picnic, explore the surroundings or simply enjoy time outdoors with others.
Full meeting details will be shared once the vote has closed and the winning location has been confirmed.
You choose where we go. You choose how you explore.
GOD OF OUTSIDE: BELONG
We’re closing God of Outside with our annual Acts picnic—a relaxed afternoon of food, games, laughter and community at Wanstead Flats.
Bring your own picnic, along with a blanket or camping chair and anything you’ll need to enjoy the afternoon comfortably. You’re welcome to bring something to share with others if you feel comfortable, but there is absolutely no pressure.
Whether you’ve joined every God of Outside event or this is your first, there is a place for you.
Come as you are. Leave knowing you belong.
GOD OF OUTSIDE: Wonder
Begin God of Outside by slowing down, looking closer and rediscovering the wonder of creation at Walthamstow Wetlands.
Guided birdwatching tours will take place between 11am and 1pm. Those who are not joining a tour are still warmly invited to explore the Wetlands at their own pace. Afterwards, we’ll regroup for a short time of reflection, sharing what we noticed and where we encountered God in the detail.
Please wear comfortable footwear, dress for the weather and bring something to eat and drink.

BOLD — Beyond Our Limited Dreams is a seven-day rhythm of focused, corporate prayer at Acts Church.
Light Bearers Academy
A nurturing, faith-filled space for children aged 0–11 to learn about God through age-appropriate teaching, creativity, and play.
Designed to help children grow in confidence, curiosity, and faith, in a safe and joyful environment.
Scripture Unplugged
A relaxed space to slow down, open the Bible, and explore Scripture together. No pressure to have the right answers and no prior knowledge needed — just come as you are, listen, share if you want, and discover what God might be saying through His Word.

A relaxed, creative space to paint, sip tea, and connect. No experience needed and no pressure to be “good” — all materials are provided.
