Upcoming Field TripFrom one library to another, we’re going on a field trip on 4 July to the British Library.
Here we will see some of the most important Biblical manuscripts in the world are on display. It’s a great opportunity to see at close quarters artefacts that have directly contributed to the modern Bibles we use today.
We’ll be leaving from Leytonstone station at 14:30 to travel to King’s Cross.

WHAT IS
CODEX SINAITICUS?
The Codex Sinaiticus is a 4th-century Christian manuscript written in Greek. Originating around 330–350 CE, it is one of the earliest and most complete surviving Bibles. It contains the oldest complete copy of the New Testament and parts of the Old Testament.
