📍 aRRIVAL

The venue is located at 147 Whipps Cross Rd, London E11 1NP. You can enter via the steps at the rear of the venue if you’re driving (once you’ve parked). If you’re on foot, you can access via the front entrance on Whipps Cross Road. Find your seat, settle in, and get ready for a great afternoon of food, fellowship, and celebration!

 

🍽️ FOOD AND DRINK

Lunch will be served shortly after
1 pm, so come hungry! Water will be provided on the tables. If you’d like juice or a soft drink, you can purchase them at the bar. Take your time, enjoy your meal, and soak in the Good Friday atmosphere.

🎉 RELAX AND ENJOY

We have a reserved space just for us—so feel free to laugh, chat, and enjoy the moment. Let’s make the most of this time together while also being mindful and respectful of other guests at the venue.

🎶 SING-ALONG + FELLOWSHIP

What’s a gathering without music? We’re bringing a guitar, our voices, and plenty of joy for a sing-along session. Whether you love to sing or just want to soak in the moment, this will be a time of praise, connection, and celebration.

⏳ Wrap-Up

We’ll be wrapping up at around
4 pm, giving you plenty of time to enjoy the rest of Good Friday. Leave with full hearts, full stomachs, and the joy of community as we reflect on the reason for this season.

  • This is a gathering for Acts Church members who RSVPd prior to the deadline. So this one is kind of a closed shop, sorry!

    However, if you’re new or have a friend interested in joining our community, you are more than welcome to join us for our weekly worship service.

  • Nope! It’s free—just come with an open heart and appetite! However, drinks will need to be purchased from the bar opposite our dining room.

  • Yes! Toilets will be available at the front of the building. Use the stairs to access the facilities.

  • Parking is available at the rear of the building. This is accessed off Whipps Cross Road [we’ll have some signage to help you out!]

  • See if you can get ride with someone who does! Failing that, it’s a 10 minute journey from Leytonstone Station - walk to Harvey Road (Stop H and just round the corner from the Library) and jump on a 257 bus towards Walthamstow, exiting at the Sir Alfred Hitchcock Hotel stop.

  • Come as you are! It’s a relaxed vibe and welcoming atmosphere, so whatever makes you comfortable.

  • Then shame on you! 😅
    Don’t worry, it’s fine. We’ll have a list of what everyone ordered to make sure that we all get fed!

  • We understand that plans change! If you can no longer attend, please let us know as soon as possible so we can adjust seating and food planning.
